Then she joined the Metropolitan Club. She stopped looking. ![](https://connectedwomanmag.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/femalemavericks_1045-Ashley-Partin-1024x683.jpg) “I have belonged to clubs before. This one is different, and the difference is the people,” Beth says. “From my first week, members introduced themselves, asked what I was working on, and connected me to someone else. That does not happen by accident. It is who the Metropolitan Club attracts.” Since joining the Club in 2026, Beth has quickly made it part of both her professional routine and her San Francisco community. As an entrepreneur, author, and speaker, she works from the Club most days, using it as a place to meet clients, take calls, connect with other members, and fit in a workout along the way. “The practical part matters too. I run a business and I work from the Club most days. It is where I meet clients, take calls, and get in a workout without moving my car,” she says. “Between the space, the wellness facilities, and the women I now count as friends, the Club covers all of it. I feel very lucky to have found the Club.” ## **From New Member to Club Speaker** Beth is also bringing her entrepreneurial experience directly to the Metropolitan Club community. On Tuesday, September 29, Beth and her longtime business partner and co-author, Victoria Sivrais, presented “Entrepreneur Like a Mother,” an evening of candid conversation about building businesses on your own terms. ![](https://femalemavericks.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/femalemavericks_1244-scaled.jpg) Beth and Victoria have spent more than 20 years building companies together in industries dominated by men, without raising venture capital. Along the way, they built and sold businesses twice, including companies valued at up to $40 million. Their new book, Entrepreneur Like a MOTHER: Build a Company That Buys You Freedom, Not Owns Your Life, turns those experiences into practical lessons for other entrepreneurs. During their Metropolitan Club conversation, moderated by fellow member Jackie Kim, they explored topics including pricing, partnerships, money, persistence, client relationships, and how to build a company that creates greater freedom rather than becoming another job that owns your life. For Beth, the event is another extension of what drew her to the Metropolitan Club in the first place: women sharing their experiences, opening doors for one another, and creating meaningful connections. ## **Meet Beth Mazza** ![](https://www.metropolitanclubsf.org/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined.jpeg?width=266&height=399&name=undefined.jpeg) Beth Mazza is a serial entrepreneur, speaker, and advocate for women in business with more than 30 years of experience.
